Be kind and respectful
- Disagree with ideas, not people. Debate is welcome; personal attacks are not.
- No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of any member.
- No hateful conduct: attacks based on nationality, ethnicity, tribe, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or immigration status are not allowed.
Keep it honest
- No scams, fraud, fake job or visa offers, or requests for money from strangers.
- No impersonation of other people, businesses or organisations.
- Reviews and recommendations must be based on your own genuine experience. Do not post fake reviews or accept payment for ratings.
Protect privacy
- Never share anyone’s home address, phone number, documents, immigration details or other private information without their permission (doxxing).
- Think twice before sharing your own personal details publicly. You never need to use your real name here.
- Do not post private messages or screenshots of other people without consent.
No spam
- No repetitive posts, chain messages or unsolicited advertising.
- Businesses are welcome to join conversations, but promotions belong in the Tokunbo Directory or a paid promotion.
Stay on topic and post in the right place
- Choose the category that fits best and add a location tag when your question is local.
- Search before you post: your question may already have great answers.
- Mark the most helpful answer on your question so others can find it.
